Steak Marinade

THIS MARINADE IS AN ALL-AROUND WINNER FOR FLANK, SKIRT, AND TOP ROUND

STEAKS THAT NEED EXTENDED MARINATING TO BECOME TENDER. USE A LITTLE LESS

TIME FOR SIRLOIN AND OTHER LEAN CUTS.

2 / 3 cup honey 3 cups low-sodium soy sauce

1 / 4 cup Worcestershire sauce 3 large cloves garlic, crushed 1-inch piece ginger, peeled and chopped

1 / 2 cup water 1. Whisk the honey and soy sauce until smooth. Stir in the Worcestershire sauce, garlic, and ginger.

2. Add the water to the other ingredients in the container, then shake to blend thoroughly before using.

3. Refrigerate in a tightly sealed container until ready to use.

Makes about 4 cups
