FINISH YOUR DRAWING WITH THICK, CHISEL-TIP FELT MARKERS

This tool allows you to create dark, thick lines and thinner, more delicate lines—if you don’t press too hard. You can also experiment with line thickness by orienting the tip in different ways.

Start by redrawing the animal, pressing lightly with the thin part of the chisel-tip felt pen.

Add a few more details, and then erase as much of the original pencil lines as possible.

Using fine, light hatching, use shading to give your bovine more dimension.

Finally, fill in the details, as done with this cow’s black spots.
