Cooked Mung Dal
Pressure baking lentils
Recipe:
In a 2L Magic pot , add 1/4C water , 1C (overnight soaked & drained) mung dal , 1/4tsp turmeric powder, 1tsp ghee
Cook on high for 3 whistles / 4 mins
Let pressure settle. Open, mash & store.
Replace / supplement:
Mung dal with your favorite dal
Ghee with oil
Tips:
Can add asafoetida / other spices
On refrigeration, cooked dal lasts for weeks and stays good for months if frozen
