Andhra Style Chicken Pickle
Recipe:
Prep: Mix 250g boneless chicken
cubes, 2Tbsp lemon
juice
, 1Tbsp each (chilli
powder
, ginger-garlic
paste), 1tsp salt, 1/2tsp each (cumin powder, garam masala
), 1/4tsp turmeric
In a 2L Magic pot
layer as below,
- 3Tbsp oil
, 10 curry leaves
- 10 garlic
pods
- Spiced chicken
Cook on high for 5 whistles / 4 mins
Release pressure. Mix in 1tsp each (mustard, fenugreek
) powders
Close & rest for 10 mins. Store in a clean airtight glass container after cooling.
Replace / supplement:
Chicken with fish
Oil with sesame oil
Tips:
Chop chicken in bite size pieces
If overcooked reduce the cooking time
