Gosht ka Achar
Hyderabadi Mutton Pickle
Recipe:
In a 2L Magic pot deluxe
layer as below,
- 3Tbsp oil
- 250g finely chopped tender mutton
- 1/4C garlic pods
- 1/2C diced green chillies
- 1.5Tbsp red chilli powder
, 1tbsp salt
, 1/2tsp each (mustard,fenugreek
) powders, 1/4tsp turmeric
Cook on high for 5 whistles / 5 mins
Let pressure settle. Open & mix 2Tbsp vinegar
. Store in a clean airtight glass container after cooling.
Replace / supplement:
Tender mutton with chicken
Garlic with ginger
Tips:
Chop the mutton very fine so that it cooks faster
Use tender meat
Use more oil for longer shelf life
Can refrigerate for months if stored properly
