Cold Pressure Fried Crab Dip
Recipe:
In a 2L Magic pot
layer as below,
- 1/2C oil
- 250g cleaned and chopped crab
- 250g deseeded tomatoes
- Fill the tomato cups with 2tsp red chilli powder
, 1tsp pepper powder
, 1/2tsp each (ginger-garlic
paste, salt, turmeric)
Cook on high for 10 whistles / 6 mins
Release pressure. Open, remove tomatoes
Drain the excess oil. Mash the tomatoes, mix all with 1Tbsp vinegar
& serve.
Replace / supplement:
Spice powders with other spices
Vinegar with lemon juice or tamarind paste
Tips:
Crush the crab slightly after cooking so that flavours get well infused
Cook till you get the intense flavour of the caramelized base
