SHAPING SUGAR COOKIES

1. Take 2 tablespoons of dough and roll it between your palms into ball. Roll ball of dough in sugar and then place it on prepared baking sheet.

2. Use bottom of greased drinking glass with flat bottom or measuring cup to flatten balls of dough until 2 inches in diameter. Sprinkle tops of cookies evenly with sugar, using 2 teaspoons for each baking sheet. (Discard remaining sugar.)
