Among the many extraordinary and unusual jobs Jema pursued before writing took hold was that of wedding cake designer and decorator. Her devotion to culinary perfection is second only to her pursuit of the ideal corset as she toils in her little studio, making beautiful things from fabric, beads, wire and string, as well as cake and icing. Her work is exhibited in museums and galleries across Great Britain, and she has a large international fan base among the Steampunk and altered art communities.
“Emilly Ladybird” is Jema’s Steampunk alter ego, who leads a terribly exciting life, hunting down treasures for auctioneers Dickens and Rivett while attending parties with leading figures from Victorian history and fiction.

Terry is a virtual chameleon living somewhere between the real world and the digital. Her love of art and all things Victoriana means she mainly inhabits a world of airships, dingoes, time machines and California sunsets.
Like all artists, she lives in a garret, surviving on a diet of absinthe and paella, with a very understanding husband and her K9 pal Cassidy.
She studied fine art at USC and currently focuses her creativity on digital design and artwork.

Soulstealer Photography began life in the primordial soup of the alternative scene in London, documenting the unique and beautifully creative people who frequented the darkest corners of the Capital. Steampunk bubbled to the surface with a Vampire vs. Steampunks event; Soulstealer took the side of the ‘punks and he never looked back. The name “Soulstealer” comes from the Victorian superstition that your captured image is a reflection of your soul.
The inventiveness and enthusiasm for a time and set of mores that never really existed never ceases to amaze Martin; the way that translates into costumes, gadgets and, of course, food and drink—all produced by the most civilised bunch of folk you could ever meet—means he is unlikely to ever grow out of this new obsession.
