Note to self
‘I can’t handle this’ — a common and recurring thought on the tough days. You can. You have. And you will. But it can be hard to remember that when you’re in the eye of the storm.
After the storm has passed, take a moment to write a note to yourself about how you survived and how you can again. Give credit to your strength, and list the lies your brain tells you, noting that despite the trickery, you got through. Refer to the note next time you feel like you can’t make it.
