Family Confession and Prayer

Eternal Father,  in the name of Jesus Christ, by faith,  I thank You for the salvation of every member of my family. Psalms 68:6 (NLT) says,  “God places the lonely  in families; he sets the prisoners free and gives them joy. But he makes the rebellious live in a sun-scorched land.” By faith, I thank You for the joy and liberty You have given to my family. May depression, anxiety, and addiction be removed far from every member of my household.

You said to Abraham in Genesis 12:2-3 (NLT), “I will make you into a great nation. I will bless you and make you famous, and you will be a blessing to others. I will bless those who bless you and curse those who treat you with contempt. All the families on earth will be blessed through you.” By faith, I declare that my family is blessed with Abraham by Christ Jesus. May the blessings of protection, influence, growth, and significance rest heavily upon every member. I thank You that my family  is uniquely gifted and supplied with everything needed to succeed. James 1:5 (NLT) says, “If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking.” By faith, I ask and receive divine wisdom to build and aid my family in fulfilling our mission. May You bless the work of our hands and give us witty inventions, divine connections, and favor with all who are given to us.

Your Word says in Ecclesiastes 4:12 (NLT) that “a person standing alone can be attacked and  defeated, but two can stand back-to-back and conquer. Three are even better, for a triple-braided cord is not easily broken.” By faith, I thank You for a tightly-knit family that can withstand the attacks of every enemy. By faith, I thank You for the love of God that flows from heart to heart – giving life to every member and leaving no one exposed. I thank You, Lord, that my family is  a  triple-braided  cord, bound together forever by truth and love. Today, I celebrate the fact that the power that raised Jesus from the dead is resting on my family; and untimely death and all evil agendas are nullified in Jesus’ name.

You said in Isaiah 54:17 (NKJV), “No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and  every  tongue  which  rises against you in judgment you shall condemn. This  is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is from Me.” By faith, I thank You that every member of my family is a servant of the Lord and the blessing and reward of the servant is resting on us.

I thank You, Lord, that the anointing that lifts burdens and breaks yokes is resting on my family according to Psalms 133:1-3. By faith, I thank You, Lord, that the yoke of sickness and disease is broken, the yoke of poverty is broken, and the yokes of generational curses are broken off of my family in Jesus’ name. May the blessing of Your peace be upon every member, resulting in nothing broken, nothing lacking, and nothing missing in Jesus’ name. Amen.
