Introducing the stars of this book— nine-year-old twins, Aditya and Akriti and their best friend, Kabir. Although the three are very good friends, they are also very different from each other. Aditya, born a couple of minutes before Akriti, is the elder of the twins. A tall boy, almost a five-footer, Aditya always finds himself standing at the back of the class, owing to his height. He is the Dude in the group.
Unlike Aditya, Kabir is a lazy kid. He is someone who prefers to be a goalie in a game of football. When leaning on the goal post, he always hopes that the ball stays on the other side of the ground. A large frame sitting on his nose makes him look studious, though he is quite the opposite. He is the Nerd of the gang, simply because he looks like one.
Akriti is the smartest of the lot. Someone who always knows how important it is to listen to the other person. Akriti is smarter than both Aditya and Kabir. Her general awareness and knowledge is far higher than the other two. It is not without reason that she is the Genius of the group.
The three are fourth graders at Sacred Heart Public School, one of the oldest and most renowned schools in Solan.
