KNOWN SIDE EFFECTS
Effects vary from person to person. Consumed via a paper straw, Jingle Jangle stays in your system for three days and can do irreparable damage. The drug creates a euphoric feeling in the user and keeps them up for days, in more ways than one.
Jingle Jangle gets its name from the title of the third album from the Archies, a fictional musical group from the original Archie Comics universe. If you haven’t heard the song before, it is worth looking up! It’s a total bop!
HISTORY OF THE DRUG
Jingle Jangle has plagued Riverdale for generations. Legend has it that the man who created and first sold the drug was named the Sugarman, and throughout the years, he has passed down his title and duties to the secret, special drug pushers who have taken over for him. Though mostly used and sold on the Southside, JJ has made its way north in a big way. Today, the drug is mostly sold through the Ghoulies, who get it into the hands of people around town. The last known Sugarman was Southside High teacher Robert Phillips, though he was exposed and subsequently arrested. It is unclear who is running the Jingle Jangle trade now, but if we had to place a bet, we would pin it on the crew behind Hiram’s New Southside.
