I can’t believe tomorrow is my last day at school!
I feel kind of emotional about it all, because a lot has happened in the last year …
★ Weeks survived at high school: 39
★ Times went bright red: 87
★ Nicknames: 9
★ Bad-behaviour marks: 11
★ Detentions: 4
★ Cheese paninis eaten: 116
★ Boyfriends: 1 (or 2 if you count Dan the Man – he does, but I don’t)
★ New BFFs: 2
★ Times I have totally embarrassed myself: errr … WAY too many to count!
When I first arrived at Kingswood High it felt MASSIVE and I was so shy and scared, but now it doesn’t feel that big at all. Maybe that’s because I feel bigger too, both inside and out.
It’s definitely been a journey and I feel proud of myself for that. I can’t help but feel a bit sad about how things turned out with Daniel though, but maybe that just wasn’t meant to be. Anyway, enough of the sad chat because today is a day for feeling happy and I have plenty of stuff to feel grateful for, including …
1. Not smelling of vomit (last night’s shower was one of the best I’ve ever had!).
2. Having lovely clean hair – free of sticks, mud and regurgitated burger.
3. Having the absolute best friends in the world.
4. Only one day left of school.
5. Six weeks of summer holidays!!!
6. NO MORE homework!
7. Last but definitely not least – being on the ground again.
