Thank you for reading Redemption Road, book 8 in the Wolf Harbor series. The story continues with Battle Lines in March. You can pre-order it now.
If the shifter world is to have any chance of surviving exposure to the humans, they need to be united. But that’s going to take some doing. And Abby Stafford and Akihiro Tanaka are going to have resolve their own differences if they’re to lead the shifters to a new alliance that can withstand what’s to come.
But battling that disclosure is going on too. While Benny was up in the Okanogan, Cujo Brown was off running a mission for Haru Ito. You’ll hear about that in next summer’s series featuring Cujo. (More later. Just enough to let you know that I haven’t forgotten about the humans who are getting closer every day.)
And of course there are the personal stories of our favorite people too. So be sure to pre-order Battle Lines next, so you don’t miss anything!
I’ll see you there.
Background to the Wolf Harbor series
The idea for this series has been lurking around in my head for a while. I love a good urban fantasy/paranormal romance series. I have some authors I re-read the entire series when their new book releases every year. But if the genre has a flaw, most recent books have a protagonist who is usually a young woman who — how do I put this kindly? — has a lot to learn. Usually with much handwringing and angst.
What about a mature woman? What if she already has a life, and then she’s turned to a shifter? What would an paranormal suspense series about her look like?
So Abby Stafford came to keep me company in my thoughts, demanding her story be told. And she brought friends. I like these people! So of course, as a writer, what will I do? Give them some challenging times ahead, of course. Hat Island had to figure out how to get the serum to the girls who need it. There were still missing women from the early experiments. And not everyone in the shifter world is happy about a female Alpha, and the changes she’s bringing.
If you liked reading the books as much as I liked writing them, please write a review wherever you bought them. Or put in a good word for the series on your Facebook page, Goodreads, or other social media site. E-publishing works because people sing out when they find books they like. Reviews don't have to be lengthy. Two lines about what you thought will be much appreciated.
If you want to make sure you don’t miss out on any of the books in the Wolf Harbor universe, sign up for the newsletter, Wolf Harbor News, a gossip rag written by Synde Bell, the first and only shifter journalist. You will get the first announcements of future books, and other glimpses into the Wolf Harbor world. Claim your free short story, I Love You Two, as a signing bonus.
Thanks again for reading.
