Greek All-Purpose Rub
Makes ½ cup     5 minutes
Enjoy the flavors of the Mediterranean with this herbaceous mix that’s perfect for most any grilled meat, especially lamb.
3 tablespoons dried oregano
2 teaspoons dried basil
2 teaspoons garlic powder
2 teaspoons onion powder
2 teaspoon smoked paprika
2 teaspoons dried parsley
2 teaspoons freshly ground black pepper
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon kosher salt
  1. In a small bowl, whisk together oregano, basil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, parsley, black pepper, thyme, nutmeg, cinnamon, and salt. Use your fingers as needed to break up any clumps.
  2. Use to season chicken, pork chops, seafood, and vegetables.
  3. Store in an air-tight container for up to a month.
Lemon zest or a garnish of fresh mint is optional.
