Seafood Spice Rub
Makes ½ cup     5 minutes
This seafood seasoning has just the right amount of punch and heat to compliment your next low country boil. Use more or less cayenne; just be sure to have a cold beer handy either way!
2 tablespoons kosher salt
2 tablespoons celery seed
1 tablespoon ground lemon pepper
1 tablespoon garlic powder
2 teaspoons smoked paprika
2 teaspoons ground ginger
1 teaspoon dry ground mustard
1 teaspoon allspice
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon cardamom
1 teaspoon white pepper (or black pepper)
  1. In a small bowl, whisk together salt, celery seed, lemon pepper, garlic powder, paprika, ginger, dry mustard, allspice, cayenne pepper, nutmeg, and white pepper.
  2. Use to season fish, shrimp, crab, and lobster.
  3. Store in an air-tight container for up to a month.
