- When you found out Courtney Byrd was a man, what was your very first reaction?
- Which wife did you like the most? Which wife did you care for the least? Did you think Katie was a bitch and got what she deserved? Do you think Courtney was far too smart to ever fall for the timed, calculated life Erick offered? Were you rooting for either wife? Why?
- Do you think Erick Reynolds really loved Katie? Do you think he really loved Courtney? If you think Erick truly loved both of his wives, did he love Courtney more? Did he love Katie less? Do you think he loved either of them at all, or was he nothing more than a sick husband whose heart was led by his illnesses?
- Have you ever been in a love triangle? If so, what role did you play? Were you Katie? Were you Courtney? Or . . . were you Dr. Reynolds?
- Do you feel a man or woman can say “I love you” more than once and mean it equally? Or do you think the “L” word is designed for one lover at a time? Why?
- Did you agree with Kyle and Epiphany’s tactics to warn their sister of her husband? Did you agree with Shaun’s direct approach to his best friend about his gut feelings toward Erick? If you were in Kyle, Epiphany, or Shaun’s position, would you handle the situation the same as they did? Would you take a different approach? Would you warn your sister/best friend at all? Or would you keep quiet and stay out of it? Why?
- Erick strangled Courtney nearly to death after his other wife’s name came out of Courtney’s mouth. He was seconds away from striking Katie when she protested adoption. He brought Katie to Courtney’s tapas bar with Courtney only a few feet away. He had a vasectomy, yet he still led Katie to believe he could produce a child. In both marriages, he wanted to name their new baby after the other wife . . . Was Erick really a loving husband who was living with mental disorders that caused him to do these things? Or was he simply a no-good man who just so happened to have schizophrenia?
- When Erick brought his group of imposters to Fenmore’s did you think Katie and Courtney were actually going to meet each other? Were you confused? Do you feel at that moment Erick should have been honest about his double life to his wives and give them a choice to stay in such an unconventional, unusual union? Say you were Erick, what would you have done? Why?
- When the real Katie and Courtney came face-to-face, what was your reaction? Did you feel Katie’s harsh words towards Courtney were justified considering the circumstances? Did you agree with Courtney showing up at Katie’s door with nothing but a wrinkled insurance claim and assumptions? Do you think the wives initial approach to such a bizarre situation was handled appropriately? What would you have done if you were in Katie’s or Courtney’s shoes? Why?
- Would you like to see more of Katie Morgan? Would you like to see more of Courtney Byrd? Would you like to see a sequel to My Husband’s Wife to follow the lives of Erick Reynolds’ two wives after his gruesome departure? Would you like Katie and/or Courtney to journey off into different upcoming Nick Haskins projects?
