Prayer is key to your relationship with God. Your talking to Him about concerns and hurts, about challenges and opportunities, plus your listening for His guidance, wisdom, and reassurance function as the lifeblood of that relationship. God calls you to “pray without ceasing” (1 Thessalonians 5:17)—and know that He who never sleeps will always hear you. Day and night God listens for the prayers of His people, and He promises to answer. Be encouraged that God will answer your prayers, regardless of whether the response is a yes, no, or wait, or perhaps a radical change of circumstances, or a comforting sense of His presence.
