As a child of God—and that’s what you are once you named Jesus as your Savior and Lord—you have an amazing and eternal inheritance awaiting you. That inheritance is eternal life in God’s presence: an eternity in heaven, an eternity of seeing Jesus face-to-face, an eternity without sadness or pain. That inheritance cannot be taken away from you, and that inheritance will never fade. What amazing grace! What amazing love!
The LORD knows the days of the upright,
And their inheritance shall be forever.
They shall not be ashamed in the evil time,
And in the days of famine they shall be satisfied.
