CONFESS YOUR SINS AND ASK HIS FORGIVENESS

A huge canyon exists between our holy God and us sinners. Jesus’ death on the cross provided a bridge across that canyon. Our confession of our sin is our walking across that bridge and into the presence of our loving and forgiving God. You can be absolutely sure that He will forgive you, so don’t hesitate to confess your sins. In fact, make confession part of your daily prayer so that nothing stands between you and your heavenly Father.

“I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more.”

HEBREWS 8:12

The LORD is far from the wicked,
But He hears the prayer of the righteous.

The light of the eyes rejoices the heart,
And a good report makes the bones healthy.

The ear that hears the rebukes of life
Will abide among the wise.
He who disdains instruction despises his own soul,
But he who heeds rebuke gets understanding.
The fear of the LORD is the instruction of wisdom,
And before honor is humility.

PROVERBS 15:29–33

Let the wicked forsake his way,
And the unrighteous man his thoughts;
Let him return to the LORD,
And He will have mercy on him;
And to our God,
For He will abundantly pardon.

ISAIAH 55:7

To the praise of the glory of His grace . . . [God] made us accepted in the Beloved [Jesus].

In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace.
