TRUST HIM

Each of us becomes a Christian when we choose to trust that Jesus’ death on the cross is sufficient for the forgiveness of our sin. That step is the first of a lifelong journey of choosing to trust God every step of the way for the rest of your life. You choose to trust Him to teach, guide, and protect you; to go before you and beside you each day; to grow your faith; to redeem life’s losses and pain; and to use you to introduce others to Him. As you exercise your muscle of faith, your faith will indeed grow stronger.

Trust in the LORD, and do good;
Dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness.

PSALM 37:3

He who keeps Israel
Shall neither slumber nor sleep.

The LORD is your keeper;
The LORD is your shade at your right hand.
The sun shall not strike you by day,
Nor the moon by night.

PSALM 121:4–6

Though He slay me, yet will I trust Him.
Even so, I will defend my own ways before Him.
He also shall be my salvation.

JOB 13:15–16

Know that the LORD has set apart for Himself him who is godly;
The LORD will hear when I call to Him.

Be angry, and do not sin.
Meditate within your heart on your bed, and be still.
Offer the sacrifices of righteousness,
And put your trust in the LORD.

PSALM 4:3–5

Preserve me, O God, for in You I put my trust.

O my soul, you have said to the LORD,
“You are my Lord,
My goodness is nothing apart from You.”

PSALM 16:1–2
