Melissa Lozada-Oliva is a nationally touring poet, educator and bookseller from Boston, Massachusetts. Her work has appeared in Bustle, Freezeray Poetry, The Huffington Post, The Guardian, and more. She is a 2015 National Poetry Slam Champion, a Brenda Mosey Video Slam winner, and a VONA alumna. She is currently an MFA candidate at NYU’s poetry program.
