This punch tastes like summer vacation. I love to serve this when we’re poolside, or wish we were.
Makes about 14 cups
ONE 2-LITER BOTTLE ORANGE SODA
ONE 14-OUNCE CAN SWEETENED CONDENSED MILK
1 QUART (32 OUNCES) PINEAPPLE JUICE
½ GALLON ORANGE SHERBET
Pour the orange soda, sweetened condensed milk, and pineapple juice into a large punch bowl or pitcher. Stir. Scoop the sherbet into the punch and serve.
SOUTHERN SIMPLE: This is also wonderful with lemon-lime soda and lime sherbet.
SOUTHERN MOTHER: I like to serve this from an insulated drink dispenser. Fill the dispenser with ice for 30 minutes, remove the ice, and mix the punch in the chilled dispenser.
