(Original recipe was posted in 1989 in Taste of Home. Embry has loved them ever since!)
Meatballs
2 lbs lean ground beef
1 lb pork sausage
1 (5 oz) can evaporated milk
2 cups old fashioned oats
½ tsp ground pepper
2 tsp chili powder
½ tsp garlic powder
2 tsp salt
2 eggs
½ cup chopped onions
Sauce
4 cups catsup
3 cups brown sugar
2 tsp liquid smoke
1 tsp garlic powder
1 cup chopped onions
Mix meatball ingredients together then shape into 1 inch balls. Place in baking pan in a single layer and pour sauce over them. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
