Kathmandu, 25.08.1976 | Kathmandu, August 25th, 1976
Aye Gorakh uttar se, kare mahal men vishram. | Gorakh has come from the North and has taken rest in this palace.
To bole Gorakh, suno Kamalo, tum bat ghyan ki. | So speaks Gorakh: "Listen to My words of knowledge, Kamalo.
Jaise sarp mani bina vyakul hoy, mani gire, | Like the snake goes into shock when it loses its jewel
to sarp giravai dunai sir, | and weeping shakes its head
bayan, dayan, mani hit karai rudan anek; | left and right and,
nahin pave mani phir tajai turant nij deha, | not having found its jewel, leaves its body,
vaise hi Kamalo, mani chorh ke, | so Kamalo, you too were attracted by a stone
tum karo bhatan se hetu. | leaving your jewel behind.
Samay jata, der nahin, | Time is running fast
to Gorakh ka ghyan nahin ata bar, bar. | and the knowledge of Gorakh will not come again.
To Gorakh ka ghyan chorh ke, | Forsaking the knowledge of Gorakh,
tum kar rahai deha ko kheh. | you were attracted by dust.
Jaise sarp ne mani ka bina, deha ke kiya tyag, | Like the snake leaves its body when it loses its jewel,
vaise hi tum bina Mere ghyan ka kar, | so you too without My knowledge
rahe ko kshar. | are choosing mud instead."
Bole Gorakh, suno nitthal sultan Kamalo ab tum bat meri, dhyan se. | Gorakh is speaking: "Now, king Kamalo, listen to My words attentively.
Ghyan, vighyan ki is hetu se mitao, tab paoge tum par mukti Gorakh ka. | Only by giving up knowledge and science you will have the liberation of Gorakhnath.
Nahin jane isko Brahma, Vishnu, Shesh, Sanatan. | Not even Brahma, Vishnu, Shesh and Sanathan know this.
Maine dhare rup anek bar, dhare chhinn bhinn bhram bhaye sakal yoni, | I have taken many forms and many births,
jane ye Kakbhushundi. Paye the param pad ko vah. | but only the crow Kakbushundi has had the supreme knowledge.
Suno Kamalo ab tum chit se. | So listen now Kamalo with full attention.
Jab jab kiya pralaya maine, | Whenever I destroyed the world,
Kakbhushundi rahe the mukti men. | Kakbushundi has got liberation.
Jab unko diya tha sundar rup maine, | When I offered him a beautiful form,
par unhone kisiko pasand nahin kiya. | he did not like it.
Par jo mera kal rup kag usse di, to pasand kiya. | He preferred My black form as a bird.
To turant jaya ke vardan unko diya: | So the boon of victory was given to him immediately:
ho kag tum nasht nahin hoge koi yug men. | that he would never be destroyed at any time.
Jab duniyan men kuchh nahin rahega, | When nothing remains in this world,
na dharti rahegi, | nor the earth,
na akash, na clin rahega na rat, | nor the sky, the day
na rahegi prithvi, | or the night,
usi jyoti rup men tum samaoge kag. | I'll keep this bird in its form of light.
Jo jo tapdhari bhaye is prithvi men, | I kept whoever did penance on this earth
unko maine jyoti men | in a form of light,
samaya aur sab kadam men mil gaye. | but they all mixed with earth instead."
Gorakh bole: is mahal men, | Gorakh speaks: "In this palace,
jo chota balak hai, | the one who is a little boy here
vah is dharti men ratna banega. | will become a jewel on this earth.
Bharhi yah balak hai, | This child is a great being
ati sanskari. | with a special destiny.
Pahale isne tap kiye barhe, | He has done
barhe bhari. | great penances before.
Suno nittal Kamalo, ab tum, | Listen carefully now Kamalo.
main ja raha hun, | I am going
apne Himalaya ka, | to stay in the Himalayas.
kar raha hun prasthan. | ||
Prakand yahin samapt kiya. | Today's subject ends here." |
