About the Author

E. James Harrison was born in Salt Lake City and developed an early love and fascination with the great men and women of the Bible while sitting on his parents’ couch, flipping through the pages of Bible Stories for Children. Those early seeds have sprouted and grown into a more serious study of the scriptures to help him gain a clearer understanding of God and the Savior.

He holds degrees with emphasis in creative writing and public relations and has written countless magazine articles, newsletters, advertisements, and commercials. He has authored dozens of books in his mind but has only committed five to paper. His first novel, The Tomb Builder, was published in 2011. His next novel, The Cross Bearer, will be released in 2015.

When not putting words on paper for himself or others, he can be found boating and waterskiing with his family and friends or traveling to see new things and meet new people.

He and his wife Deborah have two daughters and four grandchildren.
