To get started, we need to create an Azure API Management service by performing the following steps:
- Search for API Management and provide all the following details. In the following example, I have chosen the Developer pricing tier. But for your production applications, you need to choose non-developer tiers (Basic/Standard/Premium) as the Developer (No SLA) tier doesn't provide any SLAs. Once you have reviewed all the details, click on the Create button:
- At the time of writing, it takes around 30 minutes to create an API Management instance. Once it has been created, you can view it in the API Management services blade:
