If you enjoy tart flavors, such as grapefruit, you will enjoy this tasty grapefruit and kale green smoothie. The lime, tart green apple and grapefruit offer a nice, tart kick, making this a perfect smoothie to drink in the morning when you need something to perk you up.
What You’ll Need:
- ½ cucumber, sliced
- 1 medium Granny Smith apple
- 4 stalks of celery
- 1 grapefruit, peel removed
- 1 lime, peel removed
- 1 head of kale, stems removed
- 1 cup of water
How to Make It:
Core and peel the apple and remove the peel from the grapefruit and lime. Cut the apple into chunks. Place the kale leaves, cucumber slices and the water in your blender, blending until smooth. Add the celery and blend again. Add the apple pieces, grapefruit and lime to the blender. Continue blending until you have a smooth mixture. You can add more purified water if the smoothie is too thick.
