Pomegranate, Orange and Banana Green Smoothie Recipe

Pomegranate is such a delicious, healthy fruit, but many people rarely eat pomegranate seeds. The pomegranate seeds turn this smoothie into something special and the addition of orange juice packs in even more vitamin C, which boosts your immune system. The combination of flavors is delicious and you will get plenty of antioxidants when you drink this smoothie as part of your green smoothie cleanse.

What You’ll Need:

- 1 ¼ cups of purified water

- 1 banana

- ¾ cup of orange juice (preferably freshly squeezed orange juice)

- 1 cup of pomegranate seeds

- 2 cups of fresh spinach

How to Make It:

Peel the banana and wash the spinach. Remove the pomegranate seeds from the pomegranate.

Add the purified water, orange juice and spinach to your blender. Process until you have a thick, smooth mixture. Add the banana in chunks to the blender and then place the pomegranate seeds in the blender as well. Continue blending until your smoothie is finished. You can thin it if needed with a little more orange juice or water. Makes two servings.
