Berry, Kiwi and Avocado Green Smoothie Recipe

The berries used in this smoothie recipe are full of wonderful antioxidants, which help to fight free radicals, preventing cancer, aging and more. The kiwi adds even more vitamin C to the smoothie, and the spinach is packed with nutrients, such as iron. You may be surprised to see the addition of avocado to this smoothie, but it adds healthy fats and gives the smoothie a nice texture as well.

What You’ll Need:

- 1 kiwi, chopped

- 2 cups of purified water

- ½ avocado, chopped

- 1 cup of blueberries

- 1 cup of frozen raspberries or strawberries

- 2 cups of fresh spinach, stems removed

- 1 banana, chunked

How to Make It:

Wash the spinach and the blueberries. Peel the banana and then chop into big chunks. Cut an avocado in half, use the side that doesn’t have the seed and chunk the avocado. Wash and then chop the kiwi.

Blend the spinach and the water together in your blender. Once the mixture becomes nice and smooth, add the kiwi, avocado, blueberries, frozen raspberries and banana chunks to the blender. Continue blending until the mixture is well blended. Makes two delicious servings.
