For this green smoothie you can use your favorite baby lettuces along with some kale. The pineapple provides sweetness to the smoothie and the banana gives the smoothie a nice texture. Since this recipe only makes a single serving, you may want to double the recipe.
What You’ll Need:
- ½ of a banana, cut into chunks
- 1 cup of purified water, cold
- 1 cup of raw kale, chopped
- 1 cup of baby lettuces
- ¼ cup of pineapple, fresh
- ¼ cup of parsley, fresh
How to Make It:
Peel a banana and chunk half of it for the smoothie. Wash kale and then chop it into pieces. Chop the pineapple into chunks. Wash the parsley and baby lettuces.
Add the water, kale, baby lettuces and parsley to your blender. Blend on low until the greens combine with the water, creating a smooth mixture. Next, add the banana and pineapple chunks to your blender. Increase the speed and continue blending. Once you have a smooth texture, pour the smoothie in a glass and enjoy. Makes one serving.
