The cantaloupe in this green smoothie offers folate, vitamin C, potassium, carotenoids and other important nutrients. The combination of the coconut oil, cantaloupe and grapes offers a light, delicious flavor.
What You’ll Need:
- ½ of a fresh cantaloupe, rind removed
- 2 cups of fresh spinach leaves
- 2 tablespoons of coconut oil
- ½ cup of water
- 1 cup of red grapes
- 1 cup of unsweetened almond milk
How to Make It:
Remove the rind from the cantaloupe and cut ½ of it into chunks. Store the other half for another smoothie or enjoy it as a snack later. Wash spinach leaves thoroughly. Wash red grapes before using.
Add the almond milk, coconut oil, water and spinach leaves to your blender. Begin blending on low, continuing until your mixture becomes smooth. Place the cantaloupe pieces and grapes in the blender and continue blending. Increase blender speed if necessary and keep blending until you get the consistency you want from the smoothie. Makes two servings. Enjoy immediately.
