Mango, Pineapple and Cilantro Green Smoothie Recipe

You probably wouldn’t think about combining cilantro with mango and pineapple, but the herb really adds a unique flavor with the tasty fruits. The avocado adds healthy fats and makes the smoothie a bit smoother and silkier. If desired, you can substitute in coconut water for the purified water, adding another layer of flavor to this delicious green smoothie.

What You’ll Need:

- ½ of a ripe avocado

- ½ cup of fresh cilantro

- 1 cup of frozen pineapple chunks

- 1 ½ cups of fresh spinach

- 2 cups of water

- 1 ½ cups of fresh mango, chopped

How to Make It:

Wash the cilantro and the spinach. Remove the peel from the mango and then chop into large pieces.

Place the cilantro, spinach and water in your blender. Start blending on low and continue until the mixture is thick and smooth. Add the avocado, pineapple chunks and mango chunks to the spinach mixture. Continue blending, increasing the blender speed if necessary. Allow to blend until the mixture is smooth and thick. Pour into two glasses. Enjoy while cool. Makes two servings.
