Flaxseed Berry Blend Green Smoothie Recipe

If you want a green breakfast smoothie that does not require work in the morning, try this one. You can make it the night before and store it in the refrigerator overnight. This way you can grab it on your way out the door and you do not have to worry about finding the time to make a delicious smoothie. It is packed with fruits that contain important vitamins and minerals for your body. The raw protein vegan water gives it a nice protein kick for your day and the spinach is the green part of the smoothie.

What You’ll Need:

- 2 cups of fresh spinach leaves

- 1 green apple, chopped

- ½ cup of red seedless grapes

- ½ cup of chopped mango

- 1 cup of frozen strawberries

- 1 cup of raw protein vegan water

- 2 tablespoons of flaxseed

- 1 teaspoon of stevia (if desired)

 

How to Make It:

Wash the apple, grapes, mango and spinach leaves. Core the apple and chop it into pieces. Remove the peel from the mango and then chop into pieces.

Place the raw protein vegan water, the flaxseed and the spinach leaves into your blender and start blending on low. Once the mixture is smooth, add in the apple chunks, grapes, mango chunks, frozen strawberries and stevia (if desired). Keep blending, increasing the blender speed until your mixture is nice and smooth. Taste and add more stevia if you think it needs more sweetness. Makes two servings. Refrigerate and enjoy for breakfast.
