The lime in this green smoothie is really refreshing, especially when added to the flavors of ginger and cilantro. You can have this smoothie ready in a jiffy, since it’s one of the easier recipes out there. The bananas pack in a lot of fiber and potassium.
What You’ll Need:
- 2 cups of purified water
- 1 lime
- 1 ½ cups of fresh spinach leaves
- 3 fresh bananas
- 1 inch of fresh ginger
- ½ cup of fresh cilantro
How to Make It:
Begin by washing spinach leaves and cilantro. Peel the lime and remove the seeds from the lime. Wash ginger and cut into pieces. Peel the bananas and then cut them into chunks.
Pour water in the bottom of the blender and then add the spinach leaves and the cilantro. Start blending on low until it turns into a liquid, smooth mixture. Add the lime, bananas and ginger to the blender and start blending again on low. Slowly increase the speed and blend until the smoothie reaches the consistency you want. Makes two servings.
