Blueberry, Flaxseed and Banana Protein Packed Green Smoothie Recipe

Yummy blueberries, bananas and apples make up a large portion of this fruit packed green smoothie recipe. It also includes a spring salad mix and spinach, making it an excellent detox smoothie to use while you are following the green smoothie detox cleanse. The flaxseed helps to clean out your digestive system and the protein powder will ensure you have the protein you need, whether you are heading to the gym or anticipating a long day working.

What You’ll Need:

- 1 large granny smith apple

- 1 cup of spring mix salad greens

- 2 tablespoons of flaxseeds

- ½ cup of red seedless grapes

- 2 cups of fresh spinach leaves

- 1 large banana

- 1 teaspoon of stevia

- 2 cups of purified water

- 1 cup of frozen blueberries

- 1 scoop of hemp or soy protein powder

How to Make It:

Wash the salad greens and the spinach leaves. Wash the apple, core it and then cut it into chunks. Wash the grapes and then peel the banana, cutting the banana into pieces.

Add water, salad greens and spinach to your blender, blending them together until your mixture is smooth. Add the apple chunks, flaxseeds, grapes, banana pieces, stevia, frozen blueberries and protein powder to the blender. Continue blending until you get the smoothie consistency. Add more stevia to taste if desired. Makes 2 servings.
