All the green veggies pack in the nutrients and this is a smoothie that is fairly low in sugars, so it works well for diabetics. The ginger helps to sooth your stomach and also will clear out sinuses, which is an added benefit.
What You’ll Need:
- 2 cups of purified water
- 3 cups of mango chunks
- 1 cup of fresh parsley
- 1 lemon
- 1 cup of celery, chopped
- 1 inch of fresh ginger
- 1 cup of fresh spinach leaves
- 1 cucumber, chunked
How to Make It:
Was the parsley, celery, cucumber and spinach leaves. Cut the celery and cucumber into chunks to make them easier to blend. Peel the lemon and remove its seeds.
Pour the two cups of purified water into the blender. Add the parsley, celery chunks, cucumber chunks and the spinach leaves. Start blending until your mixture becomes smooth. Place the mango chunks, lemon and ginger in the blender. Begin blending again, increasing the blender speed until the mixture is the correct consistency for a smoothie. Makes two servings.
