½ cup firmly packed light brown sugar
1½ cups granulated sugar
8 tablespoons water
¼ cup butter or margarine
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups chopped pecans
In a medium saucepan boil the sugars and water for 3 minutes. Remove from the heat and add the butter. Add the vanilla and pecans. Stir quickly. Quickly drop onto waxed paper coated with cooking spray because they start to harden fast.
