l (16-ounce) package confectioners’ sugar
½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
½ cup (1 stick) butter or margarine
¼ cup evaporated milk
l teaspoon vanilla
¾ cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)
In a microwave-safe bowl mix the confectioners’ sugar and cocoa powder. Add the butter and evaporated milk. Cover the bowl and microwave on high for 2 minutes. Remove from the microwave and stir well. Cover again and microwave for 2 more minutes. Remove from the microwave and add the vanilla and chopped nuts, if desired. Pour into a greased 8 × 8-inch pan and refrigerate for 2 hours or longer before cutting.
