This one went around the neighborhood when we were young marrieds. It has been a standby ever since.

1 (3.4-ounce) package instant chocolate pudding
1 cup sour cream
½ cup vegetable oil
½ cup water
4 large eggs

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour a 12-cup Bundt pan. Set aside.
Combine the cake mix, pudding mix, sour cream, oil, water, and eggs in a large bowl. Mix with an electric mixer on medium for 5 minutes. Fold in the chocolate chips. Pour the cake mixture into the prepared pan. Bake 50 to 55 minutes. Cool 5 minutes. Invert the pan and carefully remove the cake. Transfer to a serving plate and dust with confectioners’ sugar.
