Your guests will rave about this easy-to-make dessert.
½ cup firmly packed brown sugar
¾ cup chopped nuts
2 tablespoons cinnamon
½ cup (1 stick) butter
1 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup sour cream
1 teaspoon baking soda
1½ cups all-purpose flour
1½ teaspoons baking powder
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Grease a Bundt pan with cooking spray. Set aside.
In a medium bowl mix the brown sugar, nuts, and cinnamon. Sprinkle over the bottom of the prepared pan.
In a large bowl cream the butter and granulated sugar. Add the eggs and vanilla, mixing well. In a medium bowl combine the sour cream and baking soda. Mix gently and then add to the creamed mixture. Combine the flour and baking powder in a small bowl and then add to the creamed mixture. Drop by large spoonfuls into the prepared pan and smooth out the top. Bake 45 minutes. Remove from the oven. Cool on a wire rack for 15 minutes. Turn out on a serving plate. Serve warm or cool.
