1 Monday Lundi Week 31
A new person to Paris does a lot of waiting. First, there is waiting in lines. After time, you learn to watch the locals. For instance, before a service at Notre Dame, they open a separate line for those attending the service. Hop in that line and you’re in. Second, you never, ever go to museums on the free day. Each big museum has a day every month when admission is free. The lines go around corners that continue to go around more corners. And once you’re at the front of that line, you realize you’re about to enter a very crowded museum where you will inevitably wait more to see what you came to see. Just pony up and pay another day.
