Writing is a hard gig sometimes. The characters don’t do what they’re supposed to. The words come out wrong. It all seems like gibberish. This one, while remarkably easy to write which is not normal, still needed a little love.
Nikki Becker and McKinnze Lopez, you guys always make me feel good, even when you’re telling me the truth about what you’re reading. You both are absolutely irreplaceable.
Gretchen Anderson, you eased my mind on this story and it’s cohesiveness with Playing with Fire. Thank you for jumping in at the last second to help me with that!
Brenda Rothert, thank you, thank you, thank you, for taking me under your wing and sharing your wisdom and knowledge. And for never being afraid to say, “Yeah, this is as boring as you thought.” Thank you for talking through plot lines and character development on the regular. I couldn’t do this without you.
Andrea Johnston, I don’t think I’ve ever had a bigger cheerleader. I know you’ve been swamped and yet you still found time to do a final run through. Thank you. And I’ll say it… Tucker is yours.
Thank you Mom for being the final eyes on my books! It’s weird, but you’re really good at it! You missed your calling as a proof reader.
Also, because I feel like it needs to be said, thank you Karla, Piper, and Brooke for sending me down this Dramione rabbit hole. My Goodreads challenge is suffering because of it, but holy moly is this fun!
Thank you, Jesus for putting words in my fingers and having my characters process through things so I can, too. You’ve given me a remarkable gift and a remarkable life.
To everyone else I missed, I just love you all. Book friends are the best friends. Hands down.
Until next time!!!
