  1. Manifold—the only journal ever published entirely on the subject of mathematical theology—began as a publication created by half a dozen graduate students at the University of Warwick (UK). The journal started in 1968 and ran for 20 issues, until 1980. Tim Poston, a researcher at the Institute of Systems Science at the National University of Singapore, led me to several interesting articles regarding God and mathematics that appeared in Manifold. Tim’s article “Aquinas’s God versus Maxwell’s Demon” appeared in Manifold 11 (1971): 71–72. See also Clifford Pickover, The Loom of God.
