Serves Me Wright was the book that I was most afraid to write. If you’ve been following me on this journey long, you’ll know I kind of like to break hearts. Shocking, I know! And when I decided that I wanted to start with the Wrights again and have the Wright Vineyard, I worried that Julian and Jennifer wouldn’t have the normal angst that I enjoy personally writing. So I dug deep. I asked myself a lot of tough questions about being introverted and anxiety and depression. I looked at the effect having a broken family would have on a good man. And then when I sat down, after all of that fear, I just fell in love with Julian and Jennifer. And I hope that you loved them as much as I did. So, I want to thank everyone who was there for me as I laid on the floor in a tantrum trying to figure out how to write nice people being nice. You’re the real heroes!
