I’m pretty sure this was one of those stories that my mum actually thought up, and asked me to write for her. I vaguely recall another one, something about the king’s bananas. She’s pretty good at parable-style stories, to be honest, and I’m super glad I’ve finally convinced her to publish a picture book (life goal: affiliate EVERYONE with the book industry!).

So: thank you, Mum, for the story idea! I’m glad it turned out alright ☺
