Little figures

Little figures

These little figures are quick to prepare and can be made with leftover sweets. Use these guidelines to make 16 different figures, or let your imagination run wild and see how many you can create. Exchange legs, feet, arms or heads, use other colour combinations, and substitute sweets if they not available or if your children don’t like them. Use glacé icing to stick the separate parts together.

The first sweets listed form the legs or base of the figure, and the last sweets form the head. Unless otherwise stated, each set of instructions makes one figure, so multiply the sweets by the number of figures you require. Use an icing tube or a non-toxic (edible) pen to draw in the faces.

Soak wooden skewers or cocktail sticks beforehand, to make it easier and less sticky to thread the sweets onto them.
