Nancy Ekberg is a former reporter whose work has appeared in the Chicago Tribune’s Suburban Trib, Crain’s Cleveland Business, Birmingham Magazine, and several other national journals. Nancy retired as executive director of a Magic Moments charity, which provides wishes for Alabama children who have life-threatening illnesses or are wheelchair-bound. She now volunteers for Magic Moments and is a member of the Birmingham League of Women Voters. She is married, and has three sons and four grandchildren. She lives in Birmingham, Alabama.
