Revolution was by far the most challenging of the three Luthecker novels to write. I suppose that’s always the case with the third book of a trilogy. The desire to finish strong makes the task daunting, and I hope I accomplished that here. It wouldn’t have happened without the encouragement and efforts of several people. Here are a few of them.
My sister Deborah for helping me with this book, and every book I write. Every entrepreneurial endeavor, really. Her belief in me and courage on my behalf keeps me moving forward, no matter how difficult the task. Thank you for all that you are, and all that you do.
My publisher and long time friend Christiana Miller, who convinced me that she could help the Luthecker novels find their readers, but in order to do that, she needed a third book. Here it is. Thank you.
My editor Bobbie Metevier, who went through this book, and then went back to edit the previous two Luthecker books for their second edition release. Thank you for helping me level up.
And of course, my crew. JC, Erwin, Mel. 25 years strong with these guys, through thick and thin. Them, along with the women in our lives, the Claudia’s and Diane Q, form my chosen family. Thank you.
And I save the biggest thank you for the Luthecker readers. Those of you who have expressed their enjoyment to me both personally and in reviews in following the journey of Alex Luthecker and his diverse family have been the single biggest motivator.
Is Revolution the end of the story? Will Alex continue to change the minds and behavior patterns of those he encounters, or will he step aside and let Maria and Phoebe forge ahead as the next generation of pattern readers? That’s up to you, dear reader, if you want to see more. If you do, I’m sure you’ll find a way to let me know. But no matter what, I’m enormously grateful for all of you.
All the best,
Keith
