WHAT IS WAR CHILD?

War Child’s vision is of a world where the lives of children are no longer torn apart by war. War ends lives and steals childhoods. Homes, schools and families – the very things that children rely on for security and support – are destroyed. Unable to protect themselves, many children are alone, abused, exploited and recruited. War Child’s work helps to keep children safe, provide them with an education, and give them hope for a brighter future.

War Child Australia is part of the international War Child family and partner of War Child UK. They work where others don’t, supporting children in some of the world’s most extreme environments. Together with their partners they deliver life-saving interventions in nine countries across Africa, Asia and the Middle East.

War Child’s ambition is equal to the scale of the challenge. They won’t rest until they’ve created lasting change for millions of children in conflict. Visit their website to find out more about their work: www.warchild.org.au
